A big thank you goes out to Andy from Oxford Custom Calls! You'll be able to receive a $5 discount on all of his products just for being a member of the Racks & Spurs Club! Whenever you'd like to buy a call take a look at his website: www.oxfordcustomcalls.com and let him know you are a member here and he'll take off five bucks from the original price of the call. You're a great guy Andy and on behalf of the Racks & Spurs club a big thank you goes out to you bud! Cheers!

Thanks guys. I'll be doing a few give aways before spring rolls around too. I stand behind the product and I really think folks will like their calls.

Tex,
Man I just saw your post. Not sure if you'll see this or not.
A sounding board is a piece of material (slightly smaller than the call surface) that is mounted inside the pot and under the call surface to reverberate the sound as it comes off the surface. It can be wood, glass, slate....lots of things.
Ever see a pot style call with a picture mounted underneath the glass? It's mounted on the sounding board.
