wanting to buy me a new semi-auto shotgun here pretty quick.. I have been reading tons of reviews on both these guns all over the internet, just wondering if anyone on here has either of these guns.. im at a 500 or so price limit.. I would love to have a benelli SBE over both these any day but i got other prioritys...
I will be using it for turkey and waterfowl hunting.. I rarely shoot 3.5 inch shells, but id like to have the option to shoot them if it comes about.. I have heard that the 935 wont cycle 2-3/4" shells at all.. the stoeger m2000 is made by benelli and is chambered for 3".. just wanting some opinions on the two of these..

Hey Brian, how ya doin?
My buddy has a 935 and loves it. He purchased it during late duck season and I have been out with hin on several occasions. He has only had the opportunity to shot waterfowl. Its very deadly on the ducks. Has a good pattern. One thing you might want to do before purchase, is to break it down and inspect the machine work where the barrel joins into the frame. I say this because, My other buddy brought me a new 500 last year to clean. It only had about 20 rounds though it. The one thing that I noticed was the machine work on the barrel at the point of the frame had surface rust on it. Like I said this was a new gun (came from Wal Mart) and should not have any rust on it what so ever. The rust did come off with a little work, but left pitting. As far as the 935, I have not been told about anything bad with this gun. My buddy loves it. He shoots the 3" out of his. I am going down to shoot skeet with him today and will ask him about the 2 3/4".
The Stoger, not sure. You can go to Shotgun World on the web and they have a lot of information on both. What little I have read about the Stoeger has been negative. I can't remember what it was but I will look for it again. But you know how post are, sometimes you have to take them with a grain of salt. Hope this helps ya buddy.
Your Friend, Brian

I had a 935 and your right it wont cycle the 2 3/4 shells. the factory choke was good but the Rhino I had for it was awsome. the best pattern gun I have shot with the nitro 3 1/2" 4x5x7 economy loads, no problem to put 40 plus pellets in the kill zone at 50 yrds on a turkey target. I shot about every load possible threw the 935 with different choke/ shell combo's and this by far was the best.

I purchased a M2000 this past season and have had no issues with it at all. I broke it in with approx 100 shells and have not had a single malfunction since. I did hear Stoeger might be looking to produce a 3.5" intertia driven gun in the near future.

I guess im the only one that couldn't get the 935 to hold a group worth taking to the turkey woods. I tried countless loads and shell manufactures and choke tubesto no avail. All I got was a sore shoulder.
