I took the .17 out for some bushy tails. I put higher bases to bring the scope up higher. What a diiference! Made some pretty good shots for me. 5 head shots and one shoulder. Normally I wouldn't speak of my shooting. But considering the length of shots and that it was me pulling the trigger. I was amazed! Leaves are still thick and to find or see squirrels is a task in itself. But to pop all of them over 65 yds. Was a shocker!! And all were zero to 20 feet in a tree. I don't shoot up high in a tree unless its straight up. Anyway I wiped out some potential noise makers come bow season. And cooked em up like chicken wings.
