Tragedy struck today just 2 days before Thanksgiving. Rick was driving a tractor while his father followed in a pickup when the tractor overturned onto Rick which caused his death. They had been deer hunting on the family farm when it happened at 1PM this afternoon. Their farm lies between where I live and my East farm. Rick was 43 years old. My wife had worked with Rick's mother for many years and our Grandsons played football with Rick's son. Made for a sad closing of our firearm deer season today.
