This week at our local Boundary County fair in North Idaho, some longtime friends of mine put on a small timbersports exhibition.
They were Bob and Carson Bosworth and Prebin Pfalsgaard from Denmark. Bob and Carson have way over 250 National and International championships. Prebin also has many championships including many European. Bob and Carson were my neighbors for decades here in Boundary County and I used to watch Carson chop back when he could barely lift an axe. Carson still competes in the Stihl Timbersports series and also puts on exhibitions world wide. They are some great folks to be around. Here are few pics from their exhibition, not the greatest of pics, but they were fun to watch.
Bob, mceeing with Carson on the left and Prebin.
Carson and Prebin talking it over.
Carson and underhand chop....Carson's chopping axes are all custom made by his dad Bob. Other competitors benefit also from his axes
Prebin getting ready to throw axe.

Prebin and singlebuck saw
Prebin and standing chop
Carson and Bob with the doublebuck saw. Bob also makes these saws. He is quite skillfull. He and Carson are heading back to Arkansas in October to defend their doublebuck championship. Not bad for and older guy of 70 or so.
Of course I didn't have my camera today when I went to fair. So there was Prebin with his chainsaw, carving out a logger's boot out of a piece of aspen. Some talent that man has. I hope they are all back next year.
