WEll, I don't see any Elk Pass on the Congratulations Kt, that had to be an exciting day. Wow that area looks like it would be tough walking in, so wonder just how hard it is to get this big boy quartered and carried out?

This area is on private land, and they are able to get a 4wheeler into it to facilitate getting it out. They do have to quarter it out first though. They hunted deer in this area last Saturday and only saw elk. They even invited me to hunt here for elk next year. Pretty much looking forward to that. When you shoot these guys on the public land around here, well, its not for older out of shape folks to deal with. Its really tough.
