I've set up a ground blind in a strategic location on the east farm, had planned on building a tower type stand but never got it done, sure messed up. On the first hunt from the blind I saw 21 deer, today I saw 23 and 7 more on the way to it for a total of 30, haven't used a tag yet. To pass time been trying to shoot does with my camera. The heavy frost caused me problems this AM for some reason, kept turning my pics blue, here are a few. This one deer kept crouching every time the larger doe would approach it, not sure what this was all about, seen it before but not from two so equal in size. This deer seemed to know I was in the blind but just couldn't quit eating the ladino clover. They have it chewed into the dirt but keep coming back. This deer saw me through a window and stared at me for about 12 minutes, finally it moved off to the left and began feeding again. Seems like no matter what position you get caught in by a deer it soon becomes uncomfortable when trying to win the stare down contest.
