About 80 percent of the more than 7,000 people responding to an online survey by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) opposed a wolf hunting and trapping season.
But the results won't stop this fall's planned wolf season.

I'm afraid the wolf issue is going to turn in to a huge problem in the near future. Don't know very much about them but my feeling is they need to be kept at low numbers and hunting will have to be a tool to do that. In a perfect world we could all get along but wolves are predators that will take very large animals and these large animals are wanted by all folks too.

Hard to find anyone around my parts that have any love for wolves. Shoot four, tag one is the general consensus around here.
