This morning while having my first cup of coffee a coyote came walking across my driveway hunting for mice. By the time I got the rifle and was ready it got into some thick weeds along the levy and couldn't get a shot. A few minutes later the rancher drove in to feed his cows and jumped the coyote out into the open again where my Bro saw it as he was driving by. My Bro turned around and came up my drive to get me to go try to call the coyote in for a shot. The hunt lasted about 5 minutes, the coyote came busting out of a ditch in a dead run toward the caller, my bro missed her at 10 yards with his .243 but redeemed himself the second shot at 30 yards. The coyote probably weighs over 30 lbs and had most of it's front teeth missing, she is very old, I've never seen one with teeth this bad. Would have thought she would have been very wise but hunger may have set in and things didn't turn out so well.

Now that was some fast action. Great job on that coyote. That old boy must have been pretty hungry. Nice pics by the way.
