Best part of summer... (pic heavy)

Two weeks ago we had a family camp and canoe trip for my nieces' (twins) birthday. We went to the Elk River near Fayetteville, TN. It was a great weekend, perfect weather and the girls had a blast. I was the only guy with 9 girls and I still had a great time.

Today, my daughter, her best friend and I met my co-worker and his son for a float on the Red River near our house. This was my first time canoeing the Red River, but it turned out great. It's nice to have such a great river close to home.

Whiskey, great pictures, looks like a lot of fun! Wish the rivers were more like that here but that's not the case.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of those clear water streams later this summer when I visit your area.

we took another float this past Sunday and had another great trip. We spent more time swimming as we had several kids with us again. One boy got his first solo float in a kayak and another 4 year old got his first canoe trip. Good times were had by all.
