Equipment is parked waiting for dry weather once again, they got a lot of sand moved but none of the levy repaired on my neighbors farm. It will benefit me greatly if they can repair the busted levy, it keeps the flood waters off my farm and driveway/road. This damage was done last June and July, the weather has just now permitted some work to begin but it is still slow going. I've lived in this area all my life and cannot remember this much flooding, for 3 years in a row we ahve had major flooding and damage to the farm land.

Sure hope it dries soon so that equipment can get to working. Here what you are saying Grizz, rain, snow, flooding, lately, it sure been rough for alot of folks. Here they are building d**es at Medora, and God only knows whats going to happen at Bismarck. The resevoirs are filled to the brim now. The outflow is going to be horrendous once the Yellowstone River kicks in and the mountain snowpack kicks into the Missouri. I'm sure there is still going to be a lot of hell to pay downstream from the Missouri. Going to be a long agonizing spring for alot of folks yet.

This project just keeps getting hammered, first it was the rain on Monday and Tuesday, then one of the operators was found pinned underneath his ATV on Tuesday evening. My neighbor said he may have had a medical condition that caused the accident but we may never know what killed him for sure. The project will resume when it dries up and hopefully that will be soon.
