OK, this is just something i noticed and thought you all would get a kick out of: The 30-30 my mom got as a teenager, is a Win. 94. It shoots best w/ rem. cor-lokt. my dads .308 is a rem.700. it shoots best with win. powerpoints. my 870 shoots best w/ win. turkey loads in the bird barrel, and win. slugs in the rifled barrel. The pattern: Major brand rifle/ shotgun. most accurate load- RIVAL COMPANY'S BUDGET-GRADE AMMO!!!! Just thought it was kinda funny, because remington claims to build their guns around their ammo,so one would think that in my dad 308, remington ammo SHOULD group a little better than 6''. But every gun is different so i guess that is kind of impossible.

If ya want to see a real odd pattern. You can do what I did. Drop your gun ten or so feet from the ground.

Thats the funny part. With win. ammo its printing one hole groups at 50 yds.

Out of my 1187 turkey gun,and all my turkey guns prior. I have always had good patterns and better end results with winchester ammo, but with a good choke system. The right combo is the right combo My rifles '06,222,270,243. Well I shot a few manufacturers rounds through them. I always came back to hornady for the larger calibers. 222 remingtons shoot real good. But in reality,ya never know. ??
