Here are a couple pics of the trap shoot I went to today. It is part of a 3 day event held each year at the same time, been going on for about 28 years. It is for fun only, the prize for the winner, a thermos bottle that looks like a shotgun shell, has to be returned the following year. One of the games is- five guys line up, the shooter beside you can pick up a missed bird to eliminate you, you can choose to shoot pieces too if someone leaves a big chunk to shoot at. The third guy has the chance to eliminate both of you, if you shoot out of line, you're out. This continues until you have 5 champions lined up,, finally getting down to 2 people, then of course you have a winner. Today there was a strong wind behind the targets, they were fast, lot of shells were shot. My first set I shot 40 rounds to become the winner, 2nd set I shot 22 , then 20. My Bro showed up with his son and I got kicked out for good. I was thankful, my shoulder was hurting and out of ammo! ;D

Now this looks like a lot of fun to me. A very nice setting, nice weather, and great folks. Hard to beat that. Sounds like you held your own in the shooting department, for awhile anyways. A nice way to spend a weekend.

Oh how I miss my guns. Thanks for sharing those pics. It looks as though everyone had a great time. Hopefully one day I will be back out there with you all in the fields filling the skies with lead.
