seen the shed that I saw this evening, it was absolutely HUGE. My cowboy friend wanted to go for an ATV ride this evening so we crossed the road into the river bottom. The weather has just allowed a few farmers to till in the field after a wet spring and 3 floods so we were cruising along the ranch road where there were 4 JD track tractors pulling field cultivators in this one large field, about 2000 acres in size. These tactors extend way past the front tracks and have kind of a built in shelf on them so this is where these drivers were placing things they had found in the field, mostly duck decoys that had came from a close by lake but one tactor came along side of us by the road and was close to us for 3/4 mile along the field end.
On the front of his tractor was 1 duck decoy and 1 HUGE whitetail shed, one of the largest I've seen in a long while. My wife and friend wanted to know what I was looking and pointing at as we all drove along beside this tractor, obviously excited over what I was seeing. I have not found any of the real big sheds this year that I knew was out there but this farmer has, right across the creek from where "Stickers" lives, 1 mile West of my house and I can hunt there. I would have stopped and asked questions but these guys need to keep rolling to get their crops in, they have close to 11,000 acres to go, so stopping them tonight would not be good. When the work is done I intend to inquire about this shed, I'd sure like to measure it and get a pic.

Hope ya get a chance to get your hands on it. Those bones can put a nice hole in tires and cause problems with other equipment.

Haven't had any luck with getting in contact with the fella that found the shed but have got permission to hunt close to the field he was in. Problem is it is in the river bottom, huge fields with only three tree lines, one along the old river which is dead water, the new river ditch and a small river that flows along side it 1 mile to the west. Most of these fields are over a thousand acres in size, some are two thousand or more so the odds of being in the right place at the right time are slim. I've been riding the ATV over there often and have found a place to glass from that I can see for 3 miles in all directions, hope to spot this buck in July or Aug then make plans from there. Have another pic of "Stickers" I'll get on here before long, he rough scored 168, not bad for a set of sheds.
