Here is another pic with them lying on floor. It is difficult to show all his points in one pic. This is another deer on my farm from time to time that won't score well but I'm going to send an arrow his direction if given the chance, just dosen't matter to me what the final ends up to be.

Have to agree with you Longspur, these kind of racks interest me. When I posted the cam pic of him last fall, some where on R&S, I asked how old everyone thought he was. I think he is a mature buck, if you look at the date it is Sept 19th , short hair but filled out body and neck, I have other pics of bucks same time, same place, they look about 2/3 his size. Chris found his rack straight North of my number 1 stand and from that location is where I believe this buck spent most of his time. If he did, he probably watched me get into that stand 15 times last fall/winter. His rack was about 60 yards from Chris' house, in Bluestem, which is just as good as standing corn for cover, maybe better.

I am a firm believer that finding sheds will eventually lead to a bucks routine. I almost think after looking at the cam pics of him ,that he could be 51/2 this fall.I hope to see some pics of him this year.either on the hoof or on the ground. I hunted a pretty good buck a few years ago. A guy found his sheds in a really thick area with a good view to the funnel I had hunted 4 or 5 times during archery. That buck had made fresh rubs each time I wasn't hunting there. I saw him once just before the light faded. And he skirted around me. i'm pretty sure he heard me comin in. But the rest of the hunt's I think he had me patterned.More than likely he watched me enter and slip into my stand. I always entered from different directions depending on the wind. It never made a difference.Your scenario sounds very similar. I hope you get him this year. Makes for a good story ,when you have a history with a buck.
