It sure looks like it works good on level ground but if you were set up near a ridge top and deer or turkeys were approaching from down hill and either early in morning or late in evening the angle of the sun may catch it and away goes the game.

Looks like it would be ok. But yeah I think the weight would kind of be awkward to carry around. And with my luck on a windy day,it would take off like a kite.
