I don't like 'em. First of all, they're costly ($42.00 for 3 broadheads). They also don't stay in the "fixed position" (folded and safe) all that well. There's constant readjustment that is needed and it becomes a "babysitting job" for your broadheads. Who wants that? And thirdly, I've shot two deer with them, one at 12 yards the other at 20) and did NOT get a passthrough on either deer... both of which I could not recover due to not having a sufficient blood trail to follow. Both shots were vital shots and I do believe that because of these broadheads and their inability to acheive the desired results of a passthrough that they're not worth the cost or waste they have created. This is only my opinion based on my personal experience. I'm sittin knowing that I've killed two deer and have nothing to show for it. That's about all I can say about it.

I have seen the 2 blade at work and they are nasty, great blood nothing but gut and she only ran 100 yards. I looked for some yesterday but everyone was out so I bought the Rocky Mountain Snyper 2 blade same broadhead half the price. I went out and shoot a slick head bout 45yds away and they did work piles of blood and passed right through the breadbasket highly recommend. The entry hole was giant and the same on the exit only thing was had she not tried to duck the string I would have cut the ole shirttail. Good luck hope this helps!

I have a few hunting buds who have the same problem with the Rage. They rattle and unfold, and lose alot of KE when entering a deer. The best penetrating mechanical broadhead(From testing) is made by Rocket -Steelhead XP with the tip blade attached. I have killed a couple dozen deer with them, along with a few coons. They fly just like my field points and always pass thru unless I hit the far shoulder. But then it is a double lung and the deer does not make it out of sight. Many great heads on the market today, but a few I do not like.

There are good stories and bad about these Rage 3 Blade Broadheads. The only bad ones I hear are about the three blade ones, I have yet to hear any bad ones on the two bladed ones. Gob Father might not agree with me on this one but I am still not sold on these 3 Blade ones being bad. So just to say I have been going out since Sept. 29 and they are still in my quiver. If I get the chance this season I will let you know how I really feel about these.

Go to Cabela's website and check out their product reviews. Many have had problems with the blades not opening or passing thru the deer.
They either love them or hate them.

i've heard nothing but bad reviews on these broadheads. my buddy had them and had the same penetration problem and a lot of broken o-rings. he went out and bought the magnus stingers and has nothing but great things to say. im looking at the NAP nightmares or G5 montecs or strikers. i dont think i will ever go to mechanicals-too many things to go wrong.

We brought some to try and they would not stay closed. Never used them during deer season. Threw them in the trash and started using the G-5 Montec. They worked great.

I havent shot them. I will stick with my WASP jackhammer SST mechanicals. I have shot 8 deer with them with no problems. I had one that was at 30 yards I didnt get a pass through and it was hard tracking becuase I hit a little high other than that all good and never had a blade break and only one bent.
