Hey everyone, ive been buisy doing alot of taxidermy lately, and here is one mount that i really like and enjoyed doing. I did this mount for my woods class teacher and he really loved it! I kinda showd a little tutorial but not as good as the turkey, only because i was mounting both at the same time and i had my hands full. It took me all day to mount them but it was well worth it. here is the base and a scrap piece of wood for a "mimic" sign both duck skins out of the tumbler and ready for blow drying working on making/mounting the head and neck juncture to the body Here is the hen body done with the neck materal connected firmly to the body and the head...the beak i air brushed on myself Here is the mallard drake mounted and hung on the lynyeard Here is the hen skin with the wings wired and the legs wired, ready to be attached to the manikin and sewen up! And after many hours of positioning the ducks and grooming the feathers and working on the base....the finished product!! H4E

Very nice H4E. Thank you for taking the time to post those great pics. A tremendous amount of time it takes to put together those mounts. I don't think a lot of people really realize just how much work it really is. You certainly have done a fine job. You have lots of talent. Thanks for sharing. :)KT
