What an evening we had. I took my girlfriend tonight and we had a great walk. It started out by me finding a decent 5 point. We walked another 30 minutes or so when I spotted a huge shed off to her right as soon as I said look at that pig, she and I noticed the mate to it about 6-8 feet away. This set is off a 5 x 8 that should gross score well into the 170's. After some celebrating we continued on and within 10 minutes Steph picked up her biggest shed to date. I'm guessing it will go 65 plus inches. It's a basic 4 point with a couple stickers off the G-2. We walked about another 70 yards and I spotted another decent 4 point. As I was trying to get an angle out of the sun I almost stepped on a small 3 point laying tines down. As I pointed that one out Steph says there is another one right there. It turned out to be a decent 5 point. All 3 of these sheds were in about a 20 foot radius. We made several passes back and forth looking for the mates to those sheds. I told Steph it looked like her shed had been knocked off as there was a small amount of skull on the pedical. It took about 30 minutes but I found the match to it about 100 yards away. It has matching stickers off the G-2. I'm guessing this buck will gross in the upper 150"s. Steph is up to 6 sheds and I'm now at 64 for the year. I can't wait to get back out tomorrow!
