Hey Guys, I'm a begining archer and was wondering if any of ya'll had some tips for me to get started in 3-D tournaments. Any advice would be appreciated and just tips or somethin like that that might help me out. I live in Arkansas, so pretty much only local tournaments for right now. Thanks alot.

The best thing to do is start hanging out at the pro shop, and attend local 3D shoots. While you attend the shoots start noticing who usually wins and then just start hanging out with them (dont be a stalker) there should be several guys that are really good and you can tell that they know what they are doing. Most archers love to pass on what they know. You will learn more than you ever thought just by hanging with these guys and hanging around at you local Pro Shop, ask the good shooters where there is a good pro shop and then go from there. 3d is loads of fun and can become addictive, which equates to lots of money spent. I started when I was around 15 or so and just so I could get better at killing deer, now at 37 I can not live with out shooting in the tournaments.
