My first try at a European mount. This is the 8pt i killed last week in Mi. Its not completely done yet but getting close. I still have to permantly attach it to the display board, sand and seal again and redo the board edges when i pick up a router table. I made the display board from rough cut Walnut i had laying around. It was a good learning project that will help me when i do another one.

Looks really good!! I like your display board!! Here is one that I had done by a taxidermist friend of mine! I shot him in the spine with a rocket miniblaster and I had the piece of the spine mounted with the broadhead in it! I just like things like that! I glued the arrow and the broken broadhead tip and one of the blades that broke on the plaque with it when I got it back!
