Ebay has posted their newest ban on hunting related items. Effective Aug 13 this year. Nobody can buy or sell brass casings, parts of a firearm empty shotshells or anything else they deem to be useful in firing a projectile. The policy states the listing will be ended if eBay finds it to "violate" their policy. it does not say you will be credited with the listing fees either.

Man, that stinks. What so bad about it is that there were probably just a few people who abused the privilege and triggered the ban. I believe this goes back to my gripe about unethical "hunters" giving the rest of us true "hunters" a bad name. The majority of people looking on Ebay for hunting, or even shooting related items are doing it respectfully, and for it's legal and intended purpose. But, you know there's got to be some idiot somewhere who says " hey, I can get stuff on Ebay to carry out my master plan". UGH! I can't say that I really blame Ebay. Unfortunately, they have to protect themselves from litigation in this law-suit-happy-society.

they have been putting limits on trapping stuff for awhile. Sucks but its their company and they can do what they want.

Yep, Many times a week I am reminded how stupid some of the lawsuits are. Makes one wish for the days when one took credit for themselves losing common sense and doing something stupid instead of sueing another for it. At least there are many gun related auction sites now.
