As most of you know a "Skin" is defined as an overall appearance or "interface" in which the current "view" of the site you're surfing is set to. Different backgrounds, buttons, images etc. all change when you choose from different skins that are available for that particular site. Well, the Racks & Spurs Club has multiple "skins" that you can choose from to fit your preferred "style"!
They are labled as Follows:
Each of these skins have a unique look and "feel" of their own. Obviously everyone will have different tastes and we recognize that here so we have given our members a chance to "choose" which skin best fits their own "style".
No one skin has an advantage over the other. They all have the same functionalities among them. Just different graphics that's all. Each one has been intricately designed and placed here on the site for your enjoyment and we do hope that you will in fact enjoy the options!
Now, to explain how to choose a skin for your specific profile....
The "Default" skin of the site is set to the "SUEDE". So if you haven't ever changed this specific profile option in the past then your account's profile skin will/should be set to the "Suede" skin. If you want to change this "default" skin, take the following simple steps to changing the preferred "skin" of your choice for your specific profile....
1) Click on your username anywhere on the site or... select it from the top menu and click on "Profile" (indicated by the yellow box that surrounds this button in the following screen shot... which depicts the "Silver Bullet Skin available through this feature):
2) After clicking the "Profile" button you'll come to your profile page. On this page there will be a clickable link labled "Modify Profile" that you must click on as well. This is outlined by the yellow box that surrounds this link in the following illustration:
3) Once you've clicked on the "Modify Profile" button from the previous page, it'll take you to all of the modifiable features of your profile. One of which will be for the "skins". Scroll almost all the way down to the very bottom of that page and you should see a selection box that is offered to you that looks like this....
There will be SIX skins to choose from (reference the list of choices above). Select one by clicking on the drill down box and click on the preffered skin you'd like to set your profile to. Then from there, all you have to do now is save this particular setting. To do this simply just scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click on the button that says "Modify Profile"... as indicated in the following illustration:
And that shoudl be all it takes! Enjoy!
