I use an H&R/NEF Huntsman .50cal. I shoot a 245gr. Power belt with 150 grains of Triple7. At 150yds. I get 2or3 inch groups and inside 100yds. it will drive nails. Got 2 nice bucks with it this past deer season. It's my favorite gun, I somtimes use it during the general rifle season.

I bought my first ML 2 years ago. It is a CVA Kodiak Magnum .50 caliber. I took my first 2 deer ever with it last year and hope to add to that this year. I took my first deer at about 35 yards and the second the next day at about 50 yards. I had a limited budget, but am very happy with the performance thus far.

My first ML was a T/C Renegade .54 cal. Good little gun but I was not real comfortable making any type of distance shots because of the thick sights on it. I killed a few deer with it and did enjoy shooting it. Louisiana passed the law to allow magnified scopes during black powder so i bought a CVA Optima in a 50 cal. and gave the T/C to my son. Did some experimenting with the Optima and finally got it shooting good with the 295gr. Powerbelt hollow points with 95 grains of loose powder. Its a joy to shoot and love the simplicity of cleaning.

I also have a Knight Disc Elite. Shot it last night at 100 yards and could have covered the three shoots with a 1/2 dollar. Hard to beat the Knight Nina!

T/C Omega 50 cal. My wife bought it for me for Christmas 2006. I love it. It is a super gun to hunt with and extremely accurate.

Thompson Center. Ain't no better. I currently own a 56 renegade, a 54 hawken and a 50 hawken. I'm also saving up for a 50 T/C Omega.
Now that T/C got bought by S&W I only see the quality of their high quality guns increasing.
T/C is way better than all those Italian and Spanish imports. Did I mentioned they are 100% made in USA???

I use a T/C Encore .50 caliber and my son bought a CVA Buckhorn Magnum with birthday money last year. Scope, mounts and all about $160 in it. He shoots a ragged hole at 75 yards with it. 200 grain sabots and100 grain of 777. I am impressed for the money with that little gun.
