I've shot only one snow shoe in my life, when I was a kid, grouse hunting in the UP with bird dogs but I couldn't resist! I considered it a real trophy! I wacked it & picked it up before the bird dogs new what happened and my dad couldn't see me where I was at but he yelled out, "Did ya get one" & I yelled back "Yea!" After we got to the car & put the dogs in their boxes, I pulled that big ass snow shoe out of my game bag to gut it and my dad just started laughing...
