I think they were shootin' through the hole the Matthews made.
Ahh! Somebody had to come along that made a bow faster than mine ...
I wonder how well it feels in the grip of the hand?

Well, I just sold a Matthews bow for a buddy of mine ... Roger.
Matter of fact, I bought my "Black Max" off of him. My daughters boyfriend, Brian, bought his Q2XL, for $300.00, which was a good deal, so he could purchase the PSE X-Force, this Saturday.
It's all 'bout speed, accuracy, and the pursuit of perfection! So is Roger.
I'll follow up with pictures!

I'm very interested in hearing about his findings. This is making great waves among the bowhunting industry and the first hand word-of-mouth from the consumer is where it's at! I'm looking forward to following up on this and keeping tabs on this thread.

Just joined, looking at entering the bow market after a 20 year break. I stopped at a local pro shop and tested the X-Force and Bowtech tribute, both from my very limited experience are fine bows. I shot my first white tail with a 1979 or so Bear wood laminate compound 55# or 60# can't really remember - the bow is hanging on my brothers wall in retirement. The issue I have - is the X-Force more bow than I need just getting back into archery hunting, my plan is to start my 11 year old as soon as she is able to draw a hunting weight. She also has two little bros. that are itching to start hunting.

Well my buddy picked up his X-Force and had to order some "modules" which allowed him to increase his draw length. He shot it last week and was immediately impressed with the way it felt in his hand and stated there was absolutely "no hand shock." After going back to the shop where he purchased it to have the modules placed on, he shot it with a radar gun present. With a 60 Lb. pull they clocked his 310 grain arrow at 340 feet per second. That's Smokin'! When he got home to shoot it, he zeroed the Sword sights he had placed on it, and is one inch high at twenty yards and his first pin is good out to thirty eight yards. Going through a 3-D shoot he never shot under ten ... and used just one pin. His one word comment about the new PSE X -Force was, "Unbelievable!" This comment comes from a man who has owned three Matthews bows. Before hanging up he said, "PSE has hit a Home Run with the X-Force!" I'll try to get a picture in a day or two ... The only draw back that he could find is that it had to have a special bow press that only the dealers have to change anything on it. It doesn't fit his ... FYI Stopped by Rogers house tonight to check out his PSE, and he is still in love with his New X-Force. Check out these HF Hybrid Fast Cams ... they can be adjusted to 60 to 70% let off. His is on 60. They are over-sized and smokin' with Kinetic Power ... The bow itself is much more attractive in your hand and the fit seems perfect. It is 33 inches long and feels super lite. It sports the Sword Acu-Site and the optic fiber is Super in brightness, compared to my $125.00 Site. The limbs are what they call, "beyond parallel" and are capable of more bend than any manufacturer has accomplished to date. The X-Force is not for the novice, but for the seasoned archer that is capable of "staying in the shot," as it has a 6' brace causing the arrow to stay in contact with the string longer. If the archer flinches even so slightly impact at the bulls eye will be considerably off. This bow is quiet, really quiet, no really, really quiet. One would think with all the Kinetic Energy being released via the HF,Hybrid Fast Cams, there would be a lot of vibration being translated through the hand ... it's not there, it's lost in translation. As for me ... I'm still shootin' my Black Max, Matthews and I'm still content. But Roger said I could shoot it some more ... This Bad Boy is a Rifle ... and PSE has Hit a Home Run with the X-Force!

Wow! Great photos 2Poppa! I'm tellin ya... the more and more I look at that bow and the more and more I hear about it, the more and more I wanna try shooting one!
I'm not too thrilled about such a short brace height, but I think that can be tamed by "getting to know your bow" intimately.

This thing is Super Bad! You would think that upon release with those aggressive cams you would be hearin' more noise and feeling a lot of vibration. Phht! Streakingly Fast! Super Silent! Smooth as silk and ... ...I'm still in awe of the speed. If you noticed, he has added a few silencers, you can see one, second picture from the last, called the Turnerz silencer, and the STS in the first picture. The STS stops the string after the release and has a "cushy" rubber stop that prevents the string from vibrating and producing sound ... a $35.00 value. Roger stated he will score this week end, even if it's a doe. That sure would be nice I told him, but I hope that wasn't the voice of Bravado. We'll see, Kentucky Opening Day Bow Season is Saturday. If he scores ... pictures will follow. This may be the bow that prys my hand from my beloved Matthews!
