At what yardage do you have your pins sighted in for?
Right now on my pins I have them in increments of 15 yards. My pins are 15, 30, 45, 60 and 75 yards.
What do you guys have?
I actualy prefer a slider sight but have not found one worth a crap. Early last year I was discussing with Mr Ryals, of Copper John about how no one is really making a quality slider sight for hunting. He prefers this type as well, anyhow nothing out of them yet as there is a possibility that CJ puts one out. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I have a 3 pin Trophy Ridge set at 20,30,40 yds. Might mess around target shooting at longer yardages, but wouldn't feel comfortable taking a hunting shot much beyond 35.

On my pins (SurLoc-Cobra Sidewinder) I set them at 15-25-35yds. Works great for me, here in WI. Bow1, I see in your signature, you shoot CBE sights. What better slider than the 3-D XL. I have used that sight while hunting out west, works great. Mike

Yes that is an awesome sight. I have changed up and went to pins again for around here, out west I am sure it the cats meow, all CBE sights are like tanks, not in weight but in solid toughness. I just have yet to find a slider that actually works for me at full draw. The new on from HTM is pretty good, but I am not recomending it or even going to try to use one at 269.00, thats a little steep. I think the model is the Orion Hunter. I am still waiting on my Montec sight. Most likely that will be what I use next fall.

I too set mine @ 20,30,40,and 50. Usually don't get a shot further than 30 yards, but invokes confidence when I can place arrows on the range at the longer distances.

Viper Pro Predator sight, great for 3d and hunting. I like to put that sight as far off the riser as possible when I'am shooting 3d. Then you can bring it in real close if I'am hunting. Pins are typically set at 20 30 40 50.
