Great tool. I wish I had one to check cam lean at various stages of the draw for this XT string eating problem I had.
What is the device your using to pull back and lock in place with? I can't tell but it looks like as you pull back (manually) on the rope it stays locked and and doesn't let rope slip through. Is that right? If so, how do you slowly release it slowly without it dry firing?

ITs a rope ratchet, 9.00 dollars at Home Depot. You pull it manually and it locks when you ease up the pressure. To realease you pul a lever on top of the ratchet (while applying firm pressure to the rope) then slowly play it back out.
Simple. Keith

Several have asked me about cam timing. This is the way to check it. You should have no problem getting everything into spec by using one of these boards.
