Comfort is very important. I shoot around 68 pounds on my hunting rig, and I will tell you the most important thing is being able to quietly pull the bow back, sitting, kneeling, leaning over our of your stand, with all you stuff on it the key. It will do you know good if you get in your stand and the buck of a lifetime comes by you behind you where you have to turn around and draw in an awkward position and you find out you cant for whatever reason, usually its having to much bow. With the newer bows, they all pack a punch so those days of having 70 to 80 pound bows is fading. Sure there are times and places for those (africa). I am going down next year to 58 or 60. What is the point, especailly when I can shoot 58 pounds and still zing arrows in the 290's and with out cutting to much wait from the arrow and still having plenty of kinetic energy.

The XT maxed out is at 72 and that's where I keep it. In the not so distant past of 50 % let off it was more of a get the bow back and a deer hang up and have to hold it for a long time. Now days with the 65 and 80 let offs that really isn't the issue it used to be.

62# for me as well. Anything more and I start to shake when I hold it back for more than a few seconds.
