Well after 15 years of hunting with a muzzle loader I finally harvested a goose with jewelry. I got a nice 13 lb Canada banded 6/29/2005 in Ohio. 
The last band I got was 1989 on a Duck from James Bay.
As a matter of fact, I shot at and missed a goose with an “orange collar” later in the morning. I did finish the morning with 1 mallard drake and 2 Canada geese. Not at all a bad day with the muzzie.
Bill shoots modern guns and had 2 mallards and 2 Canada geese.

Any day in the great outdoors isn't a bad day. A few birds in the bag has got to be good.
