hey there guys! i'm new to duck/goose hunting and was wondering how to start scouting for these birds? i'd be more after the canada goose and mallards as a start. what should i be doing to be ready to blast 'em!?

ride around your area looking for birds, once you find them. start knocking on doors to get permission to hunt the land they are on. do some practice shooting with steel shot before you start hunting them. steel flies different then lead. buy some calls and some decoys and find a seasoned waterfowler to show you the ropes. waterfowling can get exspensive. but it,s a blast when done correctly. good luck.  |
