My buddy and his dad took me out duck hunting for my first time this morning. They said the hunting was decent but I had a blast. We saw about a dozen overall and I ended up making a shot and getting my first duck. I was pumped!  |

Congrats on your first duck!!!  If seeing about a dozen was great for you, you're hooked. I would now recommend you save all your money cause your going to need it. You will need the following: duck/goose calls, decoys, wader, boats, trailers (boat and decoy), new hunting clothes, blinds, blind gear, new shotgun, non-toxic shells, and it gets worse. We duck/goose hunters will spend $100's, no make that $1000's on our gear. The last thing you never want to do is figure the cost per pound of your table fare. It will take a computer to figure that out and it makes your head hurt.  |
