I use 3 different goose calls: Zink's PC1, Glenn Scobey and an Olt Old River 77. I'm finding goose calls are like firearms, you can never have enough.

I use a Mick Lacey short reed, a Buck Gardner Canada Hammer, a Knight and Hale double cluck plus and a call made by some guy named Goosereaper... ;D The Goosereaper gets a ton of play in the field...the geese eat it up!!!...

are you cupping your hand over the bottom of the call? on the olt this cause back preasure and makes the call work.

ok hunter green. while your blowing into the call grunt or hum a low pitch into the call. its called the gorilla grunt. this gives more realism to a goose call and remember to keep your hand cupped over the bottom of the olt. by moving your index and the next finger back and forth you can very the tone of the call. try this and let me know how it works for you. im sure you will be happy.
