hey guys, its all frozen up here, and everything seems to have left. even the RIVER(the cedar river) is frozen. im really getting tired of shooting pheasants already! we need another push of ducks and geese! what it like where u guys are at?

Your just in Iowa we are 54* in N. IL right now and just started raining.Do have some pretty good winds too 15-25 mph.I wouldn't of thought you where that cold there yet.How thick is the ice ?

we just got about 2 inches of snow, and the ice is about 3" thick......y arent u northern and neighboring states like this! DANG U!

probably, i havent seen anything in 2 weeks, but today on the way home from school i went on the bridge for the cedar river and WOW, thousands of ducks and geese! if i decide not to deer hunt this weekend, im headin there! |

a friend and i skipped class this mornin and went out on the river, we shot 3 geese, 3 gaddys and 6 mallard drakes, nothing else seemed to work us. screw it this weekend, we got a good amount of snow, SNOWMOBILING TIME!!!!!!  |
