what are you all running for feild spreads. just for the heck of it...


I mainly run bout 3 dozen GHG full bodies (geese) a dozen GHG shells, and mix in a few doz Silos till I can get more shells.. I have 2 dozen of the FB's and shells on the motions stakes ... that is one deadly combo, those stakes do wonders for the decoy spread!!!

I rarely put out any duck dekes, maybe a spinner if I feel like it but not to often...

2 dozen mag g&h shells with flocked heads, 1 dozen oversize GHG field shells with flocked heads, 1 dozen bigfoots with flocked heads, and some realgeese silos(thats a FULL day, we usually use the g&h and GHG shells )....oh, and usually 3-4 layouts.

We use layouts too, sorry, love em, can;t imagine why you would want to lay in the mud!!!

If duck season is open, we've got to put out duck decoys to!!! Love to field hunt ducks & geese and we do it out of a blind where we sit in chairs nice & comfy, with heaters if we want em...

NICE!!! im likin my layout.....and if u get cold all ya gotta do is light up a cigarette, and ur good 2 go ....... when duck and goose are open the the same time we just use our duck floaters, and push the keels into the ground.

I find that I hardly need to run duck dekes in my goose dekes to shoot ducks over the feild.. just a soft hen quack and in they come.. Ducks decoy a lot easier over the feilds here as they get tons of pressure on the water and none in the feilds.. good for me... Yep GR, i love my layout, they are so comfy and hide real well when mudded and filled...
