Homemade Duck Blinds...??..

I have a 14 ft. flatbottom and want to build a duck blind for it. Does anyone know where I can find some ideas or plans to do this? Thanks!!

I have a 14 ft semi V,
Here what i have done.Bought PVC 3/4" tubing,collars.T's and built a fame that fit my boat,and so it can be broken down by NOT Glueing all of it togather.
Then bought the 3-D leafy camo material and cut to fit the frame and boat.Don't forget to make a motor cover too.
It's inexpensive and really easy to figure out and do.And works very well.
Hope this helps some just one mans idea

I've got some rough plans for building portable field blinds but nothing for a boat. I just painted my little 12' boat camo, inside & out, I wear camo & tuck into the bank.

I appreciate everyone's help..Thanks!! I am also trying to find out where I can hunt. I live in northern Alabama, and I am not real familiar with the best places to duck hunt. I am really new at this. What main features for a good duck spot should I look for??

I live a bit north of you.But we look for Flooded timbers flooded crop fields,picked crop fields,Private lakes and ponds.
We find the woodies in creeks and swampy wooded areas here,Teal is a earlier season and they just come through a few days and move on to the next.
There should be DNR waterfoul preserves too.
Some are by draw or lottery each morning,costs a couple bucks to enter the draw.Then if you do get drawn you get to pick which designated area you want.

I would think that the DU site would have tips & plans. Or links to help you. Perhaps Waterfowl USA . U may try typing in Duck Blinds on Google as well.
