Does your state allow early goose?

Here in Ky, we can hunt resident geese for up to two weeks in early Sept. Does your state have one?

I'm warming up the goose calls right now since we have the whole month of September to hunt geese...I love it!!!

I normally hunt with some of the Knight and Hale Prostaff every fall during the late season...but it doesn't hold a candle to the early season

IL has a two week early goose season in Sept also,also when our squirrel season opens. A old school mate built a 14 acre lake and the geese have over run it.Now he wants them hunted before he wouldn't let me.This going to be a extra good year for me.

Notrth Carolina does offer a September Goose season on Resident Canidan Geese.I am going to try to get me one this year.

Early goose in Wisconsin is from Sept 1 to Sept 15. I hope to take advantage of it this year...my first time.

You'll love it huntress...The geese respond very well to the calls...they aren't as timid as the migrators which have been pounded on in Canada before they get here...There is normally alot of laughs and ribbing going on in between flocks...It's just a great time relaxing and having fun...Oh and they are a bugger to hit... ...

Early Goose in Ohio is Sept 1st - 15th, but it's hard to find places to hunt them since the crops are still in. If you can find some grassy areas next to water or winter wheat stubble you're doing good.

iowa has it, and if u can find a cut sweet corn field, or a cut alfalfa field around where the geese are, ur in. we HAMMERED them last year. cant wait to do it again this year!!
