How about Ginger?
I had a little Brittany named Ginger and she was the tops what a little Birder she was. I even hunted fall turkey with her (legal in Vermont!), you should have seen her try to retrieve a 15 lb. hen I shot once - it was Hilarious!
She was a real trooper, I really miss her (she passed away at the age of 13, she had epilepsy and we controlled it with medication - so we never had her bred - too bad I would have loved a pup from her). She was a real loveable pet as well, probably the easiest dog I ever potty trained - she was asking to go out by 12 weeks and after that never messed in the house until near the end when she couldn't help it.

Hey Sloppy.....Ginger is a fine name......so did eemer's "pull at the heartstrings" account of his Ginger become a factor......or were you going that direction anyhooo? Hey eemer....taking nothing away from your plea for Ginger or your feelings for your Brittnay.....I used to hunt behind a pair of Britts that were a great pair of quail dogs that my Dad had after a disaster with a pointer dog (another story for another time).....they were tenacious in the field.....and great around all around "home dogs"......hard to beat a Brittnay! Me....I've got a thing for English Setters.....and will tell the story of what I think was one of the best all around hunting dogs I've ever had the pleasure of hunting behind....... "Happy"......My English Setter. So Sloppy......what's eemer win for "guessing" the winning name!??

Hey RodnGun!
I still have Britts (Rocky & Bubba) (notice plural - Britts!) and they are some of the best brush busters out there, really good pets as well - if you can handle their energy! ;D
I grew up with Brittany's so I was well aware of their need for attention and energy release - if you run them regularly, they aren't bad at all.
English setters are my second favorite bird dog (Border Collies are my second favorite overall, though).
Sloppy - GOOD CHOICE! Ginger is a fantastic name! That Pup looks like it will be a good dog for ya! That mix should produce a decent size dog, too!
