Just thought I'd let you guys know that I've been having problems with my computer and internet so if you don't hear from me for some time, I'm either broke down or shoveling snow.
My internet is up and running again but the computer is ready to go, will be getting a new one looks like just putting it off as long as I can. Being the electronic genius that I am, it will probably take me two weeks to just log on once I get a new one. I already dread thinking about all the stuff I have to download, upload, copy, save, transfer etc.

I hear ya Steve. I had to get a new one a couple of months ago. Still in the relearning mode. Did loose some stuff on the old one. I hate electronics and plumbing.

Technology is way cool!! I don't like electrical. Although its how I collect a paycheck. Lol!! Computers at times push my limit of sanity. I used a monitor for target practice once. It was one of my most memorable hunts ever!!!

Terry, I completely understand and agree on those two items, I may have plumbing rated as number one on my hate list. When you are 12 miles from the nearest store being a bad plumber is not a good thing but I do have quite a collection of fittings that may come in handy someday for anyone that knows where they fit!
Scott, I've been very tempted to throw this thing as far as I can but you have given me a great idea, now to decide which weapon to use on it. Will be enjoyable to blow this thing into a thousand pieces, thinking a shotgun with turkey loads at 10 yards ought to do it.

New computer is on the way. Did not realize how addicted to them I had become. Ridiculous actually but really need a decent one to edit, develop and share my pictures. So the evening of the 19th I should be trying to figure out a new one and starting all over on the learning curve.

Can't wait to see your pics edited on new computer. From the countless ones you have shared over the years. Not sure they could get much better than that.

Hope the learning curve is quick on the new one, and all your photo programs run smooth. I haven't had much time lately to take pics. Am missing it alot though. Hopefully things will slow down here in a week or so and will be able to get out again.

Thanks Scott for the vote of confidence on the pics, every now and then I take a decent pic but I still do a lot of deleting too. I dread setting up a new computer but my Nephew is supposed to help on the 23rd, he is in his 3rd year of computer tech classes in college so I'm feeling somewhat relieved. Been seeing several turkey lately, hope to get some pics of them this spring and I'll post them if I do to see what you think. Some of my birds are big and have very good feathers so if I could get some sunshine and my lazy butt out early should be able to get on them. Had a Gobbler with 11 or so inch beard run at me then fly right over my truck today, about best feather color I've ever seen and of course my camera was at home. He flew into the timber on my East farm, he has been eating with the cows so he is putting on the weight. I'll try to shoot him about Thursday with the 500 mm and get him ready for the new computer.

Well my new computer arrived today. It is larger in every way than my old one, faster, smarter, so far I have it charging and found the on switch. By the third page I was confused so going to wait on my nephew to set it up,would like to get off to a good start if possible. While I wait for him to get here probably go try to shoot some pics so I have some new ones to load on the new machine.

Steve, you get your new computer up and going yet? Speaking of pictures, have you read much about that new Tamron 150-600 lens. It does look like it might be a fairly nice lens for the price. I know your Sigma takes pretty nice pics. I don't have a big lens, so I'm starting to consider the Tamron. Seems to be some good reviews, than some who don't like it. Wish there was a place in this area where one could be rented.
