Went and did a little recon . No ducks ,no geese no nothin. One of my favorite spots is a creek which runs through standing timber. We had a melt down last week all the creeks went up. So I was pretty sure the ducks would be there. Notta. I don't shoot a ton of ducks where I hunt,more geese than ducks. But this year really wasn't that good. Lots of woodys,but few greenheads. Havent seen it this bad in 15 yrs or so. Anyone else have a similar season?

We've had a sustained drought around here for about 5 or 6 years now. Most pot holes have long since dried up. Hopin we start having some normal precip in the winter and spring so that we can get the pot holes back to life. Haven't duck hunted in two years now. Really miss it. KT
