I had the labs out this morning at about 9:00 when I heard the familiar honk of a goose. I looked to the south and here was a V'd up flock of 40-45 greater Canadas heading north. That in itself is not that unusual for this part of the country. But what really struck me as odd, was that I can never remember seeing a flock of Canadas like this heading north this late in the spring. Seems to me like they are alittle late for nesting season. Anyone got any ideas as to why they might be so late heading north.-KT
