fox urine cover scent

I know many people use cover scent so I wanted to share something interesting from this season. I made a mock scrape a few weeks ago in an area the bucks always like. I started it about a foot across and over the next few days, the bucks enlarged it to about 3 feet as they usually do. Things were looking good until suddenly , a new scrape appeared connected to the old one , but on one side of it. Odd, but no big deal. I freshened it with scrape scent and left the area for a couple days. When I checked it, a new scrape had appeared, connected, but extending still further to the side. It was time to sit that spot and see what was happening. The old scrapes were getting filled with leaves but the licking branch was still being used.
As evening approached, a fox came to the scrape. He rolled in it and went to the bathroom all over it.

The deer were not afraid of the smell but they obviously didn't like it!

He was tempting but I was looking for big antlers and he didn't seem to have any!

I have never heard of this, but it might explain a few things. I'll try to take pics of what I'm talkin about. The land I hunt is full of foxes. They are eating all the kittens under the cabin we use. You should hear that at 4am in the morning!
