THERE WAS A NICE 12 POINT I HAD BEEN SEEING AT THE QUARRY WHERE MY ASPHALT PLANT IS LOCATED. I HAD HOPED TO GET HIM THIS SEASON BUT NO CHANCE NOW THEY FOUND HIM DEAD AFTER PUTTING OFF A SHOT IN THE PIT. HE WAS THE THIRD DEER KILLED BY A BLAST SINCE I HAVE WORKED THERE. MAN WHAT A HEARTBREAKER! THERE IS STILL SOME GOOD ONES THERE SO ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST.

I was wondering what an "explosive buck" was, I guess this one qualifies. Who got the rack anyway?and how big was it?

What is the name of the Asphalt company.So to hear that about the big buck.I use to hunt at a guarry that had a asphalt plant too.The name of the asphalt company was APAC and the was a REA construction asphalt plant too.Good Luck

the story is a sad one no doubt. the crusher foreman took the rack i have to get the measurements later i would say he had about a 20 inch inside spread and nice tine length a wall hanger for me. the asphalt company is cranford construction a sub. company of mcgeorge contracting it is in the city limits of north little rock ar.he was a towny buck.
