Wow, that is really a different slant on things I guess. I cannot complain. After 8 years of marraige we have finally come to an agreement of sorts. I think she is sick of me moaning about not being gone hunting, now she says quit your bitchin', set the alarm get your butt out of bed and go kill something. Quietly!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it doesn't matter if you're male or female....it's more a case of being a hunter or non-hunter. The non-hunters just DON'T GET IT! And....heaven help all those who are married to anti-hunters.

Roger that! they dont get "it" and they can never understand totally, I guess some just tolerate it better than others. Being a minority in the sport I guess you run into stereotyping all the time.

I gather he didn't hunt or he was a self centered narcissist, either way an idiot for sure, dinner isn't that important in life, if you're hungry and there isn't any one to make it for you, ummmm guess what, make it yourself, if you don't know how, well guess what there is PB & J in the cupboard, figure it out!! i will admit the speech has changed over the past few years, its shorter and i think she does it just to make a point, for instance i just cleaned the house this afternoon, that is her point " a little help would be nice" It took me a little while to figure out what she was trying to say, yet every year i still get it, and i still do the duuuuuh! look on my face, but now once the speech is over i try a little bit harder to help out, in fact a couple of days ago she told me to go hunting, meaning i need to get out of the house and get out of her hair, but then the snide little remarks tend to pop up once in a while, something about clean clothes, hmmm, i wasn't listening again, Now D doesn't hunt, but she does like to eat venny, so ... that part of the battle is short lived, i can't shoot 'em if i'm not out there, but i do tend to drag the season on and on by passing on little bucks and just never quite close enough for a comfortable shot at a doe, or i was too far back in the woods to take a doe and drag her out, I do stretch the season out as long as possible, although this year i have yet to even have the op to consider passing, hmmm, might not be so liberal this year... okay i'll shut up now.
