I can't even think about going out. Here in Georgia the daytime high has been in the mid 90's for so long I can't remember. The deer aren't moving very well and I have to take an extra change of clothes and a camp shower with me to the stand. I wan't to get out there but 100miles is to far to drive just to hunt one morning. Someone please give me a cool weather story.

Indiana's been in the 60's in the early morning and low 80's during the midday. Way too hot. The deer aren't feeding and moving as much as they normally do. Where's that dang cold front??!? -Sloppy

I have an Oct. 1st forecast of partly cloudy and 70 degrees. That's always too hot for me. I don't think I could do 100 degree hunting.

It was in the low 60's & raining buckets early this morning but me & a buddy had agreed to meet & go dove hunting... so we sat at McD's & had some breakfast sausage biscuits & coffee. By 7:15 the rain had let up to a light drizzle so we went! Continued to drizzle on/off till about 10 but the doves were flying. We both burned up about a box of shells a piece in a few hours & then I had to get back to the house to watch the Buckeyes play Iowa!

speakin of rain, we had 38 mile hour wind and 3 inches of rain fall , lost 2 large limbs from my red oaks , 1 just missed the house by a few feet (thank you LORD). Goin to play hookie from church to clean up, pull the four wheeler out and chain saw and drag these limb to the "Pit". More rain follows
