Guys , and gals.. If any of you Texans need a place to stay for a couple days to ride out this storm, I 'am willing to share my house.. Just west of Ft.Worth... Looks like the coast will be hit hard and they are forcasting Galveston island will be under water...

Well it looks like one of my hunting buddies is going to come up and hide out for the weekend and hope his house dont get leveled....still have one couch left.......

Your right MrJ.....this looks real ugly. Tuffb....your showing what this brotherhood is all about....opening your door for those who may need help and shelter. I salute you and the others of this site who have offered during Katrina.....and now Rita....and if I can be of assistance to you or any of the others here who are helping others....just make it known and I'll do what I can.

your a good man tuffr i am also praying for the folks in the aim of this storm. i too am willing to take in a few folks here in arkansas if need be.we all know now the best thing to do is get out till it's over.god bless-randy

Tuff I applaud you for your great generousity!!  I have decided because this is a serious time not to mention that i would love to come and stay with you LOL .. I will wait another day!! Anyway I dont have an extra room at this time but have plenty of electricity and a generator,,if anyone has a camper and needs a place to park it..or more than one. I have been preparing today just for the mess.. Walmart has no water.. We got the last 20 gallons in the entire store.. I fugured if it gets real bad we will go to move and dads they have a log home and it will just float,.. No I am scared of the wind , I dont have a slab and in a large Mobile home I checked all the straps and blocks..What more can i do.... Yards picked up of stuff I want,,the rest I put on the north side of the fence.Cows have hay for 2 weeks in the pasture,. In case we cant get out or no gas..It went up 40cent today...
