Allright went bowhunting for ht efirst time this AM. Saw 8 deer and passed on doe and a LITTLE one!. Couldn't even bring myself to draw the bow. Nursing at 15 yards broadside!

Stone Cold Mrj, She never dawdled around long enough for me to change my mind. Moving through pretty good. I had two great opportunities, One when she stopped ot nurse the midget and the other when she crossed my trail wherei walked in, she stopped and stared the wrong way for about 10 seconds. I do not think that little fellow would have made it without Mamma. Looked like he was born in JULY LOL

ya done the right thing midster.thats a good start to a season seeing 8 deer.at the first of OCT i've actually seen doe's trying ti hide from their fawns to ween them.in a couple more weeks take mamma out and the fawn will be alright.

Wellll, all this jokin' around leaves no time for hunting . Anyhow... if this is the game room... then I am gonna put some game in here....
Got this doe opening day here in Maryland. She came in at about 10 yds and whack! Perfect shot, mid body on the near side and you can see the hole on the off side. Sorry she is so bloody... this was the good side. I cleaned her up as best I could.... She dressed about 80 lbs and we aged her at 4.5 - 5.5 yrs. Enjoy!
