Got Deer ?

I see where some states down south have opened season already for deer. Anyone here doing any hunting and how is the hunting ? Another month to go here until the archery opener. Just looking for some stories...Not that I need pumped up anymore..

Bow season here in Georgia starts next Saturday. I went out yesterday and things look great. I saw three does who all had two fawns. The woods are full of plenty to eat including tons of muscadine and persimmons. Our 2 miles of logging roads are planted in millet and I saw tons of turkey including several gobblers. I can't wait. It looks like it will be another great season.

I was in the Big Horn Mtns thurs and fri. Saw several guys hunting elk and deer. No one I talked to or any of the camps I went by had any game.

Near the Cloud Peak Wilderness I saw a guy takeing a pack horse into the wilderness that had panniers. So maybe he got some thing back in the wilderness

The WY archery season for deer and elk opened Sept 1st. Small game, blue and ruffed grouse, and bear (gun) seasons also opened the 1st also

Let us respond to the question "Got deer?" In Ohio,
we've got tons of deer & some real nice bucks that
have been produced just in the last few years. Our
state has broken the World record for an archery killed
non-typical in the last 3 years and placed 4 deer in the
top 10 biggest biggest typicals killed in the world last
year which was more than any other state and one of
them was Brad Jerman's typical that is now the 11 th
biggest typical ever killed and the world record for the
biggest typical ever killed with a cross bow.

So... Hell Yea!
We've got tons of deer in Ohio!!!

But i was on the phone with Kekl from Morning Glory custom calls.And Ky deer is open now .This is the time of year i hate.Have to hear about you other guys already getting to deer hunt.

I have seen a few deer here lately, nothing like that blows my mind but decent.. I have seen 2 fawns everyday almost for the last month that lost thier mother on the hwy,, They still have thier spots but seem to be making it.. Tim

are deer here in fl are small but an abundince of them this is my year for that 8 or up

Opened up today. Saw one doe at ten yards. She was mature, but it was early and decided to pass. Now I'm sick...fever, aches, etc. So the evening hunt is shot and that's always the best time around here. Oh well....at least I got to get in the woods today. It sure was fun. Got no sleep last night cause I was so excited.
