What do you take with you

on stand to eat? I don't take too much, I have enough of crap to carry as it is! I usually take a couple of samiches, a bag of mini candy bars(three musketeers), and a bottle of water. I'll also take an apple or two. I leave the rest of the grub in the truck to eat on the way home.

Jerky of some sort.
Ratlin horns.
Doe Bleat.
Gloves if im not wearing them.
Knit hat.
Knife.
whatever else i cant think of

what do I take?? I noticed a bunch of you goofs didnt even take a weapon Thats killing me I made myself laugh ...I take a weapon ,two actually.. The romance novels help with the second one.. Ok really I take a book of my choice, romance it may be ,, guys dont knock it till you try it. I take my cover scent scent. My invisanet which is a scent destroyer and bugshiled at once.Thats a commercial for the scent company I represent. I also take my camelback filled with cold water and I also take my binos, rangefinders, my release, and a call. Knife and my cell phone.. I can play games on it if its slow.. Tim

I ussually pack some type of lunch and carry all the normal gear, even a weapon, grab the pack and head out into the woods and leave the lunch at the truck, dough!!!

What do I take to eat while on-stand? A "trail mix" that I put together consisting of nuts, M&M's, raisins and other dried fruits....water.....and an empty wide mouth bottle to put the water after I'm done with it!!

Which brings me to ask this question.....do you carry something to put your "used" water back into while on stand? I know a couple of guys who swear that watering the plants around their stand does not create a problem.....I'm just such a scent free freak that I could never bring myself to relieve myself around the tree I'm setting in!

What do you do?

Ive "watered the plants" many times and never had any problems. I think that they just think that its another animal in the woods.

Trkyhntr, don't know if the commericial that snickers has out is being seen in that part of the country or not. But they have a bunch of camo clad individuals sneaking thru the woods and 1 even in a treestand, when this Mule Deer comes up and they all jump up and start throwing Snickers Bars at em. Don't really have any notion about what is behind the idea, but IN MY OPINION, it doesn't portray hunters in very good light. Another one has aired that had to do with cutting trees or lumberjacking. Anyway, I feel there's something being said between the lines and I don't fell it has anything to do with "Pro hunting". So ya won't find em in my backpack. Go to their webpage and check the commercial and tell me what ya think.

Ya, I've seen the commercial. The wife and I both saw it and look at each other and asked each other what the hell it meant. It is stupid and agree that it does not portray a good picture for hunters.
