2006 late archery tobacco barn buck i harvested the second to the last day of maryland season i have been after this deer for 2 years.i tryed a 35 yard shot on nov 14 and i shot over his back.needless to say i hunted him every possible day i could.he was bedding in a old tobacco barn that had fell down several years ago.this barn waslocated in a 100 acre open field with the river backing up to the barn so he saw ever thing within 500 yards coming towards him an he was gone .so i set up between him and a standing corn field 400 yards from the barn so the next to the last day of season .ihad been in the stand for 3 hours and with it getting dark i started down the stand and there he was coming down the field.i just did get back in the standand nock a arrow before he was broadside at 15 yards .i released tha arrow and he bolted down the field and in the marsh. i decied to wait to the next day to track him in the marsh.he had only gone 75 yards in the marsh.he will be scored aug 20 2006 i only wish every hunter here the luck!!!!!i had harvesting this deer . I FINALLY got the offical score of 169 5/8 typical
